Yesterday we hosted a guacamole off in the garden… There ended up being 5 Judges and 5 Contestants…. about 30 avacado’s and some awesome trophies later we took a magical bike ride down to the water. Fireflies in the dequindre cut lit up our path as we rode home.

The Greenhorns visit Detroit (and the beehive) for the USSF:

It is hard to believe that we installed the beehive in the Woodbridge Community Garden only two weeks ago. Whew! What a whirlwind. Anyways as you may or may not know Detroit is busy gearing up for the United States Social Forum right now!!! We are excited to welcome the Greenhorns to our hive and community, they will be using our space for their mixer event!

Check out their projects with young farmers. I have to admit I am in love with their blog name… “the irresistible fleet of bicycles”.

Cannot wait to meet you guys!!!

Sorry for the lapse in posting, we have been sleeping, eating better, riding bikes, and celebrating.
